Itanagar, August 20, 2024 : The Finance, Planning, and Investment Department of the Government of Arunachal Pradesh has approved the release of funds totaling Rs. 9000.00 Lakhs under the Members of Legislative Assembly Local Area Development Scheme (MLALADS) for the financial year 2024-25. This amount includes both the 1st and 2nd installments for the scheme.In a communication issued to the Deputy Commissioners of multiple districts, including Tawang, West Kameng, East Kameng, and others, as well as the Additional Deputy Commissioners in jurisdictions like Rumgong, Bordumsa, Nari-Koyu, and Yachuli, the department has allocated Rs. 75.00 Lakhs per Assembly Constituency.The funds are earmarked for developmental projects under Major Head 4070 for Planning Machinery and are debitable from MLA’s Local Area Development Fund, Object Head 60-72, and other sections under Demand No. 50. The initiative reflects the government’s commitment to accelerating local development through infrastructure improvements and public welfare schemes across Arunachal Pradesh.
